Privacy policy

The short version

You don't need an account to use Press Equals, and the numbers you type into a calculator are worked out in your browser. They aren't sent to us or stored on our servers.

What we collect

• Anonymous usage statistics through Vercel Web Analytics: which pages are visited, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
• Performance measurements through Vercel Speed Insights, such as how long pages take to load.

Advertising

Press Equals is paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and measure them, based on your visits to this and other sites. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google asks for it before personalized ads are shown. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings, and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com.

Stored on your device

We save one setting in your browser: whether you chose light or dark mode. See the cookie policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its use. Since we don't hold accounts or calculator inputs, there's usually nothing tied to you, but you can ask at dafoebriden@gmail.com.
